Army chief checks on Border Guards in northern region

AMMAN — The King’s Military Adviser and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben on Thursday checked on the conditions of Border Guards in the northern region.

During a field visit, Zaben checked on the level of military preparedness of army personnel and the measures taken to safeguard the border and prevent infiltrations or other attempts to undermine the security of the country and the Jordanian people.

Expressing his satisfaction with the distinguished level and professionalism of the Border Guards, Zaben conveyed greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army. Zaben performed maghreb prayer with the Border Guards and shared iftar with them.
