King departs for Italy to attend Pope’s funeral

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania, departed for Italy on Friday to attend the funeral of Pope Francis, which will be held at the Vatican on Saturday, according to a Royal Court statement.
HRHPrince Feisal was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members, the statement said.
