AMMAN — Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications Mohammad Momani on Monday said an award for innovative journalistic work is stipulated in the 2011-2015 Media Strategy in addition to a new code of conduct to regulate the profession.
Presiding over a meeting of the ad hoc committee following up on the implementation of the strategy, Momani added that the third phase entails the establishment of an administratively and financially independent council to look into complaints filed by or against media outlets.
