AMMAN — Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Tuesday received a phone call from Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to discuss the "strong" relations between Jordan and Lebanon.
Salam expressed Lebanon's full solidarity with Jordan in addressing threats to its security and stability, saying Lebanon would cooperate with Jordanian authorities in tackling potential risks facing both countries.
Hassan highlighted that the attempted scheme thwarted by the General Intelligence Department (GID) and Jordanian security services underscores Jordan's strength and resilience, according to a Prime Ministry statement.
He said Jordan is committed to supporting its brothers in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
